Meet the B fam. To celebrate the arrival of their second son, the B family decided a cozy, at-home session was the way to go. I agree. I love being in people's homes, particularly with kids. This is a safe place for them. They have their toys, their favorite blanket, or anything else that brings them comfort that wouldn't necessarily make it to an on-location session. These kiddos were so fun. Giggles filled their home and I really feel happiness exuding. I hope you agree!
I just blogged miss Aurora's Fresh 48 (scroll down :)), and I just couldn't wait to share her newborn session. I caught a terrible cold between her birth and the time of her scheduled newborn session. It was so bad, I had to postpone twice. That NEVER happens. Fortunately, newborn lifestyle sessions allow for more wiggle room for all the great shots we wanted to capture. Aurora rocked her session and even the family dog made a cameo!
I'm on a blogging rampage! I can't help it. My new website makes it so easy and I am so excited to be able to share my client sessions!
Miss Aurora. Guys. She was 4 WEEKS EARLY! 4 weeks!! Fortunately, she was totally healthy, not needing an extended hospital stay. I had the honor of shooting her Fresh 48 hospital session and then her lifestyle newborn session a few weeks after. I think Fresh 48s are my ultimate favorite events to shoot. Especially for first-time parents. I think a new parent's recognition of one life's greatest miracles creates such emotionally charged images. I love the beginning of motherhood, the bonding, the baby feet....I could go on and on.
What a dream this sweet baby girl was to work with. At their maternity shoot, I prepped my clients for a lifestyle newborn session. It was one of the first sessions shot after finally deciding to make the transition from traditional posed newborns to lifestyle. I was nervous to break out of my routine, but excited to finally be focused solely on what I love - lifestyle photography.
